Serious crash send 3 to hospital, causes traffic jam on US-131

A driver ran into the back of a Kent County Road Construction vehicle, Michigan State Police say. The road worker was not injured.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A serious crash on US-131 Monday morning caused a major traffic jam. 

The crash happened on northbound US-131 near M-6 around 10:30 a.m. 

A driver ran into the back of a Kent County Road Construction vehicle, Michigan State Police say. The road worker was not injured.

The driver and two passengers who hit the construction vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
