Stanwood pharmacy broken into, stolen from early Saturday morning

After attempting to break into the pharmacy through neighboring businesses in the strip mall, the suspect gave up and broke through the back wall, MCSO said.

MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich — The Mecosta County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a suspect broke into a Stanwood pharmacy and stole drugs early Saturday morning. 

Staff at Canadian Lakes Pharmacy, located at 10075 Buchanan Road, discovered and reported the break-in when they opened on Saturday morning, according to MCSO. 

After attempting to break into the pharmacy through neighboring businesses in the strip mall, the suspect gave up and broke through the back wall of the pharmacy, MCSO said. 

Once the suspect was inside they stole drugs, deputies said.

MCSO is asking the public for help in identifying the suspect.
