MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. —
Montcalm Area ISD Superintendent Kyle Hamlin passed away Sunday after a two-week cancer battle, his wife Beth Hamlin posted on Facebook.
Beth Hamlin said in her post that Kyle’s death will “come as a shock to most” because they hadn’t made his battle public while they were trying to process everything.
She said in her post: “He was an amazing partner and my very best friend. We were blessed with nearly 31 years, 7 wonderful kids, and 3 (almost 4) perfect grandbabies that he adored.”
Lakeview Schools has not gotten back to 13 ON YOUR SIDE’s request for comment. Montcalm Area ISD said they will release information after talking with the family.
