GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will make their grand return to the Van Andel Arena this December.
The orchestra is coming to Grand Rapids on their tour called, "The Lost Christmas Eve."
The Lost Christmas Eve is the final chapter in TSO's Christmas trilogy and is based on TSO's CD of the same name.
The orchestra said the last time The Lost Christmas Eve was performed was more than a decade ago in 2013.
On this tour, TSO said they'll be performing an all-new version of the show to make for a "dazzling spectacle."
The plot will follow a bitter, old businessman wandering New York City alone on Christmas Eve. A chance encounter with a mysterious girl will lead the man from his life of regret to moments of forgiveness and family in the holiday season.
TSO is offering a deal through Sept. 22 where concertgoers can purchase tickets for $49.99.
"Since we've been touring, we're going on 25 years now, is to not jam people up with a mortgage payment for a ticket," said Al Petroli, TSO's musical director. "So, I know there's a bunch of tickets available now, which are about the same price of going to Taco Bell, you know, with your wife and your kids. You know, we want people to come celebrate the holidays with us, not worried about can they afford it."
The concert will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8 at Van Andel Arena with two different show times, one at 3 p.m. and one at 7:30 p.m.
