'We'll clean your yard better than we clean our rooms' | Middle schoolers start raking business to raise money for football

The two brothers call themselves the "Rake Monsters."

MUSKEGON, Mich. — If you're not in the mood to rake the leaves in your yard, there are some eager middle schoolers in Muskegon who want to do it while making a buck.

Brothers Anthony Williams and Cyrus Conarty call themselves the "Rake Monsters." For the second year in a row, they're offering to rake yards for $20.

Their slogan is, "We'll clean your yard better than we clean our rooms." Their mom said that's an accurate statement.

While they raked about 40 yards last year before it started snowing last year, they'd like to get to 60 this year.

They hope to raise money for football equipment.

"I really like playing football, it brings me a lot of joy, and it'd be great to have better gear and be able to play it, maybe even better," said Conarty.

The boys are quite the entrepreneurs as they also hosted a lemonade stand this summer and plan to shovel snow this winter.
