OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A woman was seriously injured in a rollover crash in Grand Haven Township on Friday morning, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office (OCSO).
OCSO said around 9:25 a.m. deputies were dispatched to a crash at Lincoln Street and Mariposa Street.
According to deputies, the investigation showed that a 2023 VW Taos was driving east on Lincoln when it veered off the road, went into a ditch on the north side of the road and rolled over several times.
The driver, a 34-year-old Grand Haven woman, was pinned in the vehicle until Grand Haven Township fire crews were able to get her out.
According to OCSO, she was not wearing her seatbelt when the crash happened.
Deputies said she was injured and taken to the hospital in serious condition.
OCSO said the westbound lane of Lincoln was closed so the crash could be cleaned up.
The crash is still under investigation.
