KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A woman was arrested after threatening another passenger on a bus in the Townshio of Kalamazoo Sunday afternoon.
Around 2:30 p.m., police received a panic alert from a Kalamazoo Metro Bus. The bus was stopped on East Main Street near Fenimore Avenue.
Witnesses say a woman was behaving erratically, then pulled out a knife and threatened another passenger.
Police removed the woman from the bus and took her knife.
Officers say the driver's quick action in triggering the alarm resulted in no injuries.
The woman, who is 57 and from Kalamazoo, is lodged at Kalamazoo County Jail pending arraignment.
