WYOMING, Mich. — A standoff in Wyoming involving a barricaded suspect came to a conclusion after about two hours on Saturday afternoon, according to the Wyoming Police Department.
Lieutenant Andrew Koeller said the suspect was barricaded in the 3300 block of Flamingo Avenue SW.
The standoff lasted from around noon to 2:20 p.m. when Koeller said the suspect was taken into custody without issue.
There was a heavy police presence in the area and vehicle and pedestrian traffic was impacted.
According to Koeller, there was no known threat to public safety and the incident was isolated to the residence the suspect was barricaded in.
