WYOMING, Mich. — The Wyoming Police Department announced the loss of retired K9 Jett on Tuesday.
Jett served as a dual purpose dog with the Wyoming Police Department for six years before retiring in 2021. He was trained in tracking and narcotics detection.
Jett spent his retirement at home with his handler, Officer Adam Sherman.
"Jett was a loyal and beloved member of the Wyoming Police family and will be greatly missed," the department said in a statement.
