Activist group demands drivers licenses for undocumented immigrants

In the U.S., only 12 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico offer driver's licenses to undocumented immigrants.

Cosecha GR, a local immigrant justice group, kicked of their Driver's License for All campaign on Monday, April 30.

The group is advocating for immigrants to have the right to get a driver's license, even if they are undocumented. They demonstrated at the Secretary of State office in Wyoming.

In the U.S., only 12 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico offer driver's licenses to undocumented immigrants.

Cosecha GR wants Michigan to be the 13th state to give undocumented immigrants the opportunity to drive.
