WYOMING, Mich. — One person is hurt and the power is out in a portion of Wyoming after an early morning crash.
Police say the crash happened on 28th Street and Clyde Park Avenue around 4:10 a.m. Thursday when a vehicle hit a pole. The power has been knocked out to some customers in the area, including the traffic lights at 28th Street and Clyde Park Avenue.
The power at 28th Street and US-131 was briefly out, but has since been restored.
A 13 ON YOUR SIDE crew at the scene saw a vehicle being towed from the scene.
Police said the driver sustained minor injuries in the crash. It is unclear what led up to the incident.
The intersection was closed for several hours while crews worked to restore power. 28th Street eastbound is now open and 28th Street westbound is down to one lane. Clyde Park Avenue north of 28th Street remains closed.
