COOPERSVILLE, Mich. — 15-year-old Zyleha Noel was first reported missing on May 1. Now, over a month later, she's been found safely and reunited with her family.
Noel went missing from the Coopersville area, police reported her as a runaway. She was found in the Grand Rapids area by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, who had been assisting Ottawa County Sheriff's Office investigators.
Noel was found with an adult woman who is not her legal guardian. The woman was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant.
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office said the case will be sent to the Ottawa County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for potential charges against the woman for harboring a runaway.
