$25,000 A YEAR | Michigan Lottery player wins yearly payout for life

The Lucky for Life lottery game awarded its 10th grand prize of the year to a lucky Michigan player in Hartland.

HARTLAND, Mich. — For the 10th time in 2024, a Michigan Lottery player is set to take home $25,000 a year for life.

The player, from Hartland, matched all five of the white balls in Sunday night's drawing — 06-09-12-24-32 — to win the second-largest prize from the Lucky for Life game.

The winning ticket was purchased by Hartland AC Holdings, at 10440 Highland Road in Hartland.

The Lucky for Life game is played in 22 different states, but Michigan players have been extra lucky this year and have claimed 10 yearly payouts so far in 2024.

Yearly payouts for the game include a $25,000 a year-for-life prize if all five white balls are matched and if all five white balls and the bonus ball are matched, the payout is $1,000 a day for life.

The nine other yearly payout winners from Michigan purchased their winning tickets here:

  • Borders Corner Store at 7024 East Pickard Road in Mount Pleasant
  • Value Center Market at 27428 6 Mile Road in Livonia
  • Merriman Drugs at 31320 5 Mile Road in Livonia
  • Hub Sports Bistro at 16780 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township
  • Morning Fresh Bakery at 3223 North Adrian Highway in Adrian
  • Shell gas station at 11541 East 15 Mile Road in Sterling Heights
  • Three winning tickets were purchased on the Official Michigan Lottery website

Winners of the $25,000 a year for life can choose between two payout options:

  • Annual $25,000 payments for a minimum of 20 years or life, whichever is greater, or
  • A one-time lump sum cash payment of $390,000

Lucky for Life costs $2 to play and winners are drawn every day.
