MICHIGAN, USA — Two Michiganders are waking up $1 million richer! The Michigan Lottery is looking for the two Powerball players who won the prize.

One winning ticket was bought online, while the other was bought at a Sav-Way Food Center on West Michigan Avenue in Lansing. Both players matched the five numbers in the drawing to win $1 million each.

The Michigan Lottery is looking for the players to reach out and claim their prize by calling 844-887-6836. Powerball tickets are valid for a year after the drawing.

On Monday, a player in Washington won the $754.6 million Powerball jackpot, which is the fifth-largest in the game's history.

The last Michigan player to win the Powerball jackpot was Cristy Davis, of Waterford, who took home the $70 million jackpot on Feb. 12, 2020.

Powerball tickets can be purchased for $2 per play.

The Powerball drawing takes place at 10:59 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and may be watched live online at: http://www.powerball.com. Powerball tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
