Passengers at Muskegon County Airport (MKG) can now breeze through their travels. The airport’s TSA Pre-Check program launched Sunday which expedites pre-screened passengers through security checkpoints without having to remove shoes, jackets, belts and laptops or having to remove liquids from carry-on luggage.
TSA charges an $85 enrollment fee for five-year eligibility. Once enrolled, an indicator will be embedded on the passenger's boarding pass and scanned at the checkpoint. MKG also has a separate, pre-check line.
Participating airlines include Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways and Virgin America.
