ARLINGTON, Va. -- Wreaths Across America is looking for volunteers and wreaths to honor fallen veterans on Dec. 15 at Arlington National Cemetery.
So far this year, the organization has reached 94 percent of their goal, but more wreaths are still needed.
Wreaths Across America is hoping to receive 15,959 more wreaths to reach their 2018 goal.
The wreath laying event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 8 a.m. The opening ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the McClellan Gate and wreath placement will take place no later than 9 a.m., according to the organization's website.
The organization says the event is to remember, honor and teach about the fallen veterans who are laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
