MICHIGAN, USA — Residents in Michigan can cast their ballots in person ahead of election day thanks to a constitutional amendment voters passed in 2022 that expanded early voting.
Beginning state-wide this year, early voting will be available for at least nine consecutive days, ending the Sunday before an election. Local communities can also decide to expand the early voting up to 29 days.
West Michigan communities have provided locations, dates and times for early voting. Some counties have decided to completely oversee early voting and have centralized locations and dates. Other counties let local cities and townships decide their early voting locations and dates.
