DETROIT, Michigan — Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is scheduled to visit Detroit on Labor Day.
Her campaign said she plans to meet with labor leaders and workers for a Labor Day celebration on Sept. 2.
The campaign didn't release details yet about a location and time for the stop.
Harris's visit will come four days before President Joe Biden's planned visit to Michigan on Sept. 6 to speak on his "Investing in America agenda."
Last week, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and Former President Donald Trump both held campaign events in Michigan.
The two trips, Emhoff in Kentwood and Trump in Potterville, offered dueling messages on the issue of the economy in particular, as a new poll suggested more respondents favored Trump on the key issue.
