Grand Rapids, Mich. (WZZM) The Blue Bridge in downtown Grand Rapids will be flooded with rainbow colors for the next week to mark the Supreme Court's ruling legalizing same-sex marriage in America.
In a 5 to 4 decision last week, the high court ruled all 50 states must allow same-sex couples to wed.
In a post on Facebook, Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., said the lights will commemorate the ruling and "all the good ongoing work in Grand Rapids to build an equitable and inclusive city for all."
The bridge will light up red, white, and blue to mark the 4th of July, but otherwise the rainbow colors will remain tonight through Friday July 10th.
