Christian around the world are observing Good Friday, commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
"The Crucifixion Experience" is a multi-sensory journey through the final 24-hours of Jesus' life.
Calvary Baptist Church in Holland is holding a special event that runs until 9:00 pm Friday night. The church is located at 517 W. 32nd Street, Holland, MI. The event started on Wednesday.
The interactive, self-guided multi-sensory experience of the passion of Christ through artistic demonstration and presentation. This short walk through the events of Jesus's suffering allows participants to reflect on the crucifixion.
"One of the things you will do is say the words crucify him, and several people have said I can't do that it is too hard," said Paul Davis, Lead Pastor at Calvary Baptist. "So you can read the story but when you are placed in the scenario, it is a very different and a tangible experience."
