UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete plan allows you to get better benefits

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Navigating health plan offerings can be challenging, so it’s important for consumers to understand their choices and whether they qualify for more benefits. Maximizing benefits can help save money and improve health, providing a more secure and active future as a person ages.

People who have Medicare and Medicaid may qualify for a UnitedHealthcare Dual Complete health plan, which allows you to get better benefits.

In Michigan, if you have an income of $16,000 for a single person or $33,000 for a family of four, you may qualify.

With a Dual Complete plan, you may be eligible for additional benefits such as dental, chiropractic, hearing and vision coverage at no extra charge. Dental care, such as exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, crowns and extractions. Hearing exams and access to hearing aids, an annual eye exam and a credit for eye wear, ten routine chiropractic visits each year for the relief of pain

Dual Complete plans also offer help to purchase approved health items with more than  $1,000 to spend on approved over-the-counter products at Walgreen's, transportation to health care appointments and most importantly, they will have someone to help them manage and coordinate their care.

These plans are designed for people who could use some extra help because of disabilities, health conditions or age. Transportation to health care visits and the pharmacy. 

People eligible for a Dual Complete plan can usually enroll for no monthly premium, which may help make it an affordable option.
