MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - Police in Muskegon County have closed the Northbound lanes of US 31 at the Sherman Blvd. Exit.

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- Muskegon Central Dispatch confirms a tow truck driver was hit while responding to the 30 car pileup on US 31 Southbound. He is up and walking around at this time. No other major injuries are reported. The road remains closed at Apple due to the pileup at Sherman.

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- Southbound US-31 is closed at Apple due to a 30 car pileup at Sherman. This is the second time the highway was closed Saturday due to a multi-car pileup.
Authorities are asking people to stay off the roads in Muskegon as white out conditions are a constant threat and road conditions are deteriorating.

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- Southbound US-31 is now back open between Apple and Laketon Ave. due to a crash that happened around 9 AM Saturday. The scene is now completely cleared. Near white-out conditions have been reported along US-31.
