BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- The Ferris State football team will bring its national ranking and perfect record to Ohio Dominican on Saturday for a key Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) showdown.
The Bulldogs, ranked No. 10 in the D2Football.com National Rankings, are off to their first 6-0 start since 1995. They finished with an unbeaten regular season that season and reached the NCAA Division II National Semifinals.
Ohio Dominican also is unbeaten at 6-0. It has won 21 consecutive regular season games.
Ferris State has been led by junior quarterback Jason Vander Laan, who accounted for five touchdowns last week, and redshirt freshman and former East Grand Rapids standout Jahaan Brown.
Brown rushed for 212 yards and four touchdowns in the first quarter of last week's 68-20 victory against Tiffin.
