The Ferris State Bulldogs (13-1) are looking for their third national championship in four years as they take on the Valdosta State Blazers (13-0), who are looking for their fifth overall title.
The Bulldogs and Blazers have history in the national championship game with two previous matchups in 2018 and 2021. Ferris State blew out Valdosta State 58-17 in 2021, but the Blazers squeaked by the Bulldogs 49-47 in 2018. This year, the two programs are up for a rubber match.
