Grand Rapids Rise take on Omaha in championship match with $1 million bonus on the line

The winner of the match at CHI Health Center in Omaha will determine the first-ever Pro Volleyball Federation champions.

OMAHA, Neb. — The inaugural Pro Volleyball Championship will be decided on Saturday afternoon. 

The Grand Rapids Rise takes on the Omaha Supernovas at Chi Health Center in Omaha for the 2024 Pro Volleyball Federation Championship. 

There's more than bragging rights on the line here. 

The winning team will split a $1,000,000 player bonus. 

The No. 4 seeded Rise upset the top-seeded Atlanta Vibe 3-2 on Wednesday to make it to the title match. The No. 2 seeded Omaha Supernovas defeated 3-seeded San Diego Mojo in a reverse sweep punching their ticket to the championship. 

WHERE TO WATCH 

The title match will be broadcast nationally by CBS network. CBS Sports Network is also available through YouTubeTV, fubo, DirecTV and Hulu.

The game begins at 4:30 p.m.

$1,000,000 Player Bonus 

The team who wins the championship will split a $1,000,000 prize pool. 

Next year, the Pro Volleyball Federation will take 10 teams to the court as Dallas, Indianapolis and Kansas City will play their first season. 

The top players in the league earn up to $175,000 base salary in the league's second season of competition, the federation said.

Overall, each team will exceed $1.3 million in salaries, and the 14 players that make the final rosters for each squad will earn $60,000 or above for the 2025 campaign.
