Game of the Week: Muskegon at Byron Center
Going into week 8 Muskegon was 3-3 while Byron Center was 6-1. Both teams have 3-1 conference records and are tied for second place in the OK Green Conference behind Mona Shores.
This game would prove to be a big one for Muskegon. If they didn't take home the win they run the risk of missing out on the playoffs. If that were to happen, it would be the first time the school hasn't made playoffs since 1999.
Muskegon's record showed some promise as going into Friday night's game they'd gone up against Byron Center just three times before, and had won all three matches. But would they pull off the critical win Friday night?
