FRANKFORT, Mich. — A Michigan high school football player who raced to the aid of an 11-year-old girl who was suffering a seizure says it was worth exacerbating a groin muscle injury to help her.

Seth Migda says he was videoing the Friday night game between Charlevoix High School and Frankfort High School when Grace Gibson fell and hit her head.

The Charlevoix senior says Grace was convulsing when he reached her. He scooped her up and ran her to an athletic trainer while another senior dialed 911.

The Traverse City-Record Eagle reports that Grace has returned home from the hospital and is doing well.

The 5-foot-8, 170-pound lineman says he's still sore from the experience but that he hopes to play in the Rayders' homecoming game this week against undefeated Johannesburg-Livingston.
