PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- You name the sport, and we'll show you an athlete in it deserving to be honored. The February 3, 2016, Meijer Scholar Athlete takes us back to the hardwood. It's Megan Lowell from Northview High School.
The senior has an outstanding 4.2 GPA after taking three AP classes. She's a member of the National Honors Society and the student council.
She captains the basketball and softball teams and also participates in volleyball and cross country.
Next year, she'll attend either Hope College or Grand Valley State University.
