ST. LOUIS — The Michigan Wolverines defeated top-seeded Michigan State on the ice in St. Louis on Sunday, clinching the team's third straight trip to the Frozen Four.
Dylan Duke was responsible for two in the team's 5-2 victory. That effort and an assist earned him into the Century Club with 100 career points.
Deadlocked at 2-2 midway through the third period, the Wolverines slotted two in the net within a span of 12 seconds to take a 4-2 lead.
Another goal led them to the team's 28th time at the Frozen Four.
In two weeks, Michigan will pack up to St. Paul, Minnesota for the 2024 Frozen Four at the Xcel Energy Center on Thursday, April 11.
They'll face No. 1 ranked Boston College at 7:30 p.m. CT.
