Kirk Cousins, ETS Performance give back to West Michigan with new youth athletic facility

On Friday night, under partnership with ETS performance, Cousins opened a new state of the art facility in Grand Rapids for kids sports performance training.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Holland Christian alum Kirk Cousins is going through a lot of uncertainty this NFL offseason with many questions.

How will he bounce back from his Achilles injury? What team will he even play for in 2024?

However, one thing is always for certain with the MSU alum He will always give back to his hometown

On Friday night, under partnership with ETS performance, Cousins opened a new state of the art facility in Grand Rapids for kids sports performance training. He then answered questions from those in attendance.

The center offers specialized team training programs in several sports.

Cousins could not be happier with the new facility.

"I'm able to understand what these kids are going through because I've lived it," Cousins said. "You know, there's a lot of businesses I invest in that I can't speak to the actual business, but this, this is a world I know and believe in and I'm excited to not only bring this location, but hopefully more to West Michigan in the years ahead."

ETS performance is certainly pleased to have Cousins on their side as they continue to grow.

“This is a big milestone for our company as we open our fourth location in Michigan and bring the highly differentiated training program of ETS Performance to the talented youth in Grand Rapids for the first time,” Partner & CEO of ETS Performance  Jed Schmidt said. “We’re also very excited to partner with Kirk Cousins to help Michigan’s young athletes reach their physical and psychological potential through next-level training that can’t be found elsewhere. ETS Performance has helped thousands of youth, high school, collegiate and professional athletes globally and we look forward to delivering results for our clients in Grand Rapids.”

Cousins will open a second facility in Kalamazoo next Friday.
