HOLTON, Mich. — Holton Public Schools canceled all varsity West Michigan Conference (WMC) football games for the 2024 season due to a low number of varsity football players, injuries and player safety.
The two remaining non-conference varsity football games on the schedule will still be played.
The JV team will still play the originally scheduled WMC games.
Dr. Adam Bayne, the superintendent, said this decision impacts their originally scheduled homecoming week, moving it one week later to Sept. 23-27.
