GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The University of Michigan Wolverines (14-0) punched their ticket to the 2023-24 College Football Playoff Championship Game after defeating No. 4 Alabama in an overtime thriller at the Rose Bowl.
The No. 2 Washington Huskies (14-0) held off Texas in the Sugar Bowl.
Now, the two teams go head to head in the College Football Playoff National Championship game scheduled for Monday, Jan. 8.
WHEN DOES THE GAME START?
The College Football Championship between the Michigan Wolverines and the Washington Huskies is slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.
But that's not when the game actually kicks off.
The kickoff that follows the national anthem and performance by Fantasia will take place at 7:45 p.m., the NCAA says.
