This week's winner of the Meijer Scholar Athlete is Blake Dunn from Saugatuck.
Blake is committed to play baseball at Western Michigan next year but he probably could make the Broncos in both football and track if he wanted to.
But the three sport star is also excelling in the classroom touting a 3.9 GPA to go along with his 4.5 40 time.
As with many of our scholar athletes, his parents pressed him the importance of being a *student* athlete and not the other way around.
"It's really important my parents instilled in me at a young age that grades are number one," says Blake, "you are a student athlete for a reason so you can't play unless you have good grades so I'm always striving to get the best grades I can."
