CHICAGO — The Detroit Tigers are ready to kick off their 2024 Major League Baseball season against the Chicago White Sox this afternoon.
The Tigers are traveling to Chicago for a three game series against the Sox.
The first pitch of Opening Day for the Tigers is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on Bally Sports and MLB.TV.
The Tigers and White Sox are division rivals, both in the American Central League.

- Catcher: Jake Rogers, Carson Kelly
- 1B: Spencer Torkelson
- 2B: Colt Keith, Andy Ibáñez

Forecast for the game is upper 40s and partly cloudy with winds between 16 and 14 mph.
