DETROIT — The Detroit Lions premiered a movie about their historic 2023 season Tuesday night.
The "2023 Detroit Lions Mini Movie" focuses on the Lions' best season in the Super Bowl era.
The Lions, headed by coach Dan Campbell, made it to the NFC Championship game before losing to the San Francisco 49ers 34-31.
Campbell acknowledged the historic season after the game, but had a sobering message for fans about how much harder it would be to get back to the same place next year.
"Look, I told those guys, 'This may have been our only shot,'" said Campbell in a press conference after their loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game.
"Do I think that? No... However, I know how hard it is to get here. I'm well aware. It's going to be twice as hard to get to this point next year than it was this year," Campbell added.
During Detroit's season, the Lions clinched their division for the first time since 1993, won their first home playoff game in franchise history, and tied the franchise record for most wins with 12.
Now, the Detroit Lions are celebrating their historic season with a mini-movie that premiered on YouTube on Tuesday, Feb. 27. Watch it here:
