GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan — The Grand Rapids Griffins are just two wins away from a trip to the Western Conference Finals, and they can secure those wins at Van Andel Arena this week.
After splitting the first two games in their series against the Milwaukee Admirals on the road, the Griffins are set to play game three in Grand Rapids Wednesday.
The Griffins defeated the Admirals 4-2 in game one but dropped game two 5-2 on Monday night at Panther Arena in Milwaukee.
With the series split at 1-1, the Griffins have the chance to win the series on home ice if they win the games on Wednesday and Friday.
The puck drops for game three at Van Andel Arena at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22. Game four is at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Tickets are still available for both games and can be purchased here.
If the series isn't decided in Grand Rapids, the Griffins will go on to play game five in Milwaukee on Sunday, May 26 at 6 p.m.
This is the first time the Griffins have been in the playoffs since the 2018-19 season, where they lost in the first round. Two years earlier, the Griffins claimed their second Calder Cup Championship in the 2016-17 season after an impressive run where they only dropped four games throughout the playoffs.
