LANSING, Mich. — Lansing is getting an Outdoor World.

That's according to Bass Pro Shops, that announced the plans for a new 85,000 square-foot retail space in the Delta Crossing development along Saginaw Highway in Lansing.

It is expected to open in early 2026. This would be Michigan's sixth store, with Bass Pro Shops and Cabelas locations in Grandville, Saginaw, Portage, Augburn Hills and Dundee.

“It’s an honor to have the opportunity to serve the sportsmen and women in the Lansing area. We are excited to provide a broad selection of high-quality products at remarkable low CLUB prices and to support customers with genuine friendly, expert service,” said legendary angler, noted conservationist and Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris.

Leaders expect to hire more than 100 employees at this new location.

Once the company is ready, they'll post available positions here.

Bass Pro Shops aquired Cabela's Inc. in 2017 for a reported $5 billion acquisition.

The outdoor and conservation company began in the 1970s in Springfield, Missouri, and transformed into one of the largest outdoor outfitters in the US.
