Kalamazoo crash involving three cars leaves 22-year-old dead

One of the people involved was identified as 22-year-old Audrey Hensley. She was taken to a hospital for her injuries where she was later pronounced dead.

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said officers responded to reports of a three-vehicle crash Friday around noon.

The crash occurred in the 3600 block of Stadium Drive, there was a total of four people occupying the three cars.

Officials said one of the people involved in the crash had to be removed from their vehicle using vehicle extrication equipment.

One of the people involved was identified as 22-year-old Audrey Hensley from Portage, MI. She was taken to a hospital for her injuries where she was later pronounced dead.

Another person involved is in critical condition according to officials.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety believes that excessive speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
