GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A head-on crash Friday injured 3 people, including a 9-year-old girl.
The Michigan State Police say the crash happened around 3:15 Friday afternoon on 14 Mile Road, west of 14 Mile Court NE.
Initial investigation showed a 53-year-old White Cloud man was traveling eastbound when we went off the road, tried to over correct and slammed head-on into a westbound vehicle.
The driver of that car, a 36-year-old Lowell woman, and her 9-year-old daughter sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
The 53-year-old suffered serious injuries and was also taken to a local hospital.
While the crash does remain under investigation, police believe alcohol may have been a factor in this crash.
