Police: 131 lanes reopened after semi crashes into overpass; bridge still closed for inspection

​Michigan State Police said a semi-truck hit the overpass, and that the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is waiting for inspectors to check the bridge.

ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — Northbound US-131 at 140th Avenue in Allegan County was closed after a truck reportedly crashed into the bridge.

Michigan State Police said a semi-truck hit the overpass, and that the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is waiting for inspectors to check the bridge.

Police say no one was injured in the crash.

As of 12:13 p.m. lanes on 131 had reopened but the bridge was still closed for inspection.
