SB US-131 reopened after crash involving semi carrying cattle in Martin Twp.

The southbound lanes of US-131 were closed overnight into Wednesday morning for cleanup. They have since been reopened.

ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — The southbound lanes of US-131 near exit 55 in Martin Township have reopened following a Tuesday night crash involving a semi carrying cattle.

The crash was reported around 10:30 p.m. After arriving on scene, deputies found three vehicles that were involved in the crash.

One of the vehicles was an overturned semi with cattle on board.

Deputies and first responders assisted all occupants and brought them to medical personnel.

The southbound lanes of US-131 were closed overnight into Wednesday morning for cleanup. They have since been reopened.

This incident is still under investigation.
