OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — Deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle versus car crash today on Baldwin near Harmon Lane. The crash happened at approximately 10:46 a.m.
The motorcycle was being driven by a 25-year-old Jenison man. Witnesses say that the motorcyclist was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.
The crash reportedly happened when the speeding motorcycle was passing a car and collided with it when the car changed lanes.
The driver of the car was a 62-year-old Hudsonville woman. She said she was switching from the left to the right lane when the motorcycle crashed into her vehicle.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car left unharmed.
