Police asking drivers to avoid 68th Street and Cherry Valley Avenue while crews work to clean up overturned semi

KENT COUNTY, Mich. — The Kent County Sheriff's Office is asking drivers to avoid the area of 68th Street and Cherry Valley Avenue while authorities clean up a crash.

KCSO says a semi overturned on the road, spilling its load of sand. Police are asking drivers to find an alternate route while work is done to clean the roadway.

The sheriff's office first reported the crash shortly after 9 a.m. on Thursday.
