GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man was taken to the hospital with a broken leg after a crash on Grand Rapids' Northwest side.
According to Grand Rapids Police Department, the man was driving drunk and swerved. He crashed into a pole in the area of Leonard Street NW and El Camino Drive NW around 7:30 p.m.
He was the only person in the vehicle.
Officers said he was taken to the hospital with a broken leg, but is expected to be okay.
No word on whether he faces any charges related to the incident. The driver was not identified by authorities.
