Michigan State Police warn of multiple crashes on US-131 in Grand Rapids

Michigan State Police posted to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday night warning of multiple crashes on US-131.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Michigan State Police (MSP) posted to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday night warning of multiple crashes on US-131 near Ann Street/ I96.

In the post they said both MSP troopers and Walker police responded to the scene.

The highway was partially blocked and traffic was at a standstill around 6 p.m. As of 7:40 p.m., MSP said all lanes were reopened. 

MSP asked the public to seek an alternative route if possible while they work on the scene.
