GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD) told 13 ON YOUR SIDE that a motorcyclist is "seriously injured" after being struck by a vehicle Monday night.
The crash occurred just after 7 p.m. on the Martin Luther King exit ramp on US-131. The vehicle that struck the motorcyclist fled the scene.
The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital. GRPD said they believed their injuries were "non-life threatening."
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reported that the exit ramp was closed around 7:20 p.m. The ramp reopened just after 9:30 p.m.
