MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich — A Michigan law firm released its annual report of the most dangerous intersections in the state along with lists of the most dangerous intersections in some of the counties.
MichiganAutoLaw.com shared their list for Muskegon County and for the second year in a row, one of busiest intersections in Fruitport Township is also the county's most dangerous.
The intersection of US-31 and Sherman Boulevard is the most dangerous intersection in Muskegon County yet again, according to the list.
MichiganAutoLaw.com says the intersection saw an additional 4 crashes year-over-year from 2022 to 2023, but saw a large decrease in injuries, down to only 2 in 2023 compared to 7 in 2022.
The second most dangerous intersection, Henry Street at Norton Avenue, saw decreases in both injuries and crashes in 2023.

- Henry St. at Sherman Blvd. - Muskegon - 31 total crashes, 9 injuries
- Apple Ave. at Getty St. - Muskegon - 28 total crashes, 20 injuries
- Norton Ave. at Seaway Dr. - Norton Shores - 26 total crashes, 2 injuries
- Getty St. at Laketon Ave. - Muskegon - 25 total crashes, 5 injuries
- Laketon Ave. at Seaway Dr. - Muskegon - 24 total crashes, 12 injuries
- Getty St. at Sherman Blvd. - Muskegon Heights - 23 total crashes, 8 injuries
