IONIA COUNTY, Mich. — No one is injured after a crash involving a semi in Ionia County on Wednesday afternoon, according to Michigan State Police.
MDOT said around 3:15 p.m., eastbound I-96 was closed at Nash Highway (Exit #59) for a crash.
MSP said a semi rear-ended a sedan and flipped over, landing on its side.
The driver of the semi has minor cuts and the driver of the sedan wasn't injured, MSP said.
As of 4:50 p.m., MSP said the highway is reopened but it's down to one lane.
The crash is being handled by the Ionia County Sheriff's Office.
