OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — Around 6 p.m. Monday night the Ottawa County Sheriff's Officer responded to a crash involving two cars in Wright Twp.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Cleveland St. and 40th Ave.
The sheriff's office said that investigators on scene determined that a 33-year-old man from Conklin driving a 2005 Toyota was traveling North on 40th Ave. when a 16-year-old boy from Muskegon was traveling West on Cleveland towards 40th Ave.
Officials said the Toyota approached the intersection and slowed for the stop sign before continuing through the intersection, at the same time the Jeep, which did not have a stop sign, was going through the intersection and struck the Toyota.
Officials said the driver of the Toyota was injured while the driver of the Jeep was not.
