GRPD: Pedestrian crash on 28th Street under investigation

The pedestrian suffered a leg injury, but police said it didn't appear to be too serious.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police in Grand Rapids are investigating a pedestrian crash on 28th Street Monday morning. 

It happened at 28th Street SE and Kalamazoo Avenue SE around 5:25 a.m. according to Grand Rapids Police. 

The pedestrian suffered a leg injury, but police said it didn't appear to be too serious. 

The Grand Rapids Fire Department was on scene controlling traffic flow while police investigate. The area was fully clear, traffic moving as normal, by 6:40 a.m.
